Overview

Adventure – nature – culture The Condor Viewpoint, at 3,400 m a.s.l., is in the high-Andean community of Chonta, in the Limatambo district of the Cusco province of Anta, and is becoming a new tourist destination in Cusco. You will enjoy a new route that includes nature, archaeological sites, landscapes and the majestic flight of the Andean condor in its natural habitat in the impressive Apurímac canyon. The condor is a bird endemic to the southern Andes that represents the world above, the upper world. It is one of the largest birds in the world and plays an important role in the food chain. The trip to the Condor Viewpoint, or Chonta viewpoint, is one of the most spectacular nature tours you can do in Cusco, complemented by the attractions of Tarawasi and Killarumiyoq and the flora and fauna of the land of the avocado and the cherimoya, far from large groups of tourists and recommended for birdwatchers.
