CHOQUEQUIRAO TREK
05 Days - 04 Nights

SUMMARY
Choquequirao, the "golden cradle" of the Inkas, is only comparable in magnificence to the wonder of contemporary Machu Picchu.
Spectacular, lonely, distant and forgotten, Choquequirao is located in the province of La Convención, department of Cusco at a height of 10,120 feet. It is built at the top of a mountain, almost untouched by time.
Reaching Choquequirao is a demanding and unique adventure where the archaeological and historical value is increased by the natural beauty of its surroundings. We will encounter beautiful mountains, amazing cliffs, snowcapped mountains like the Apu Salkantay and the roaring of the spectacular canyon Apurimaq (God speaking), one of the deepest in the world. The flora and the ecological wealth of this place will always delight visitors, with its atmosphere charged with energy that holds this sacred place; last bastion of resistance and dignity of the Andean culture.
